FlightOut (“we”, “us”) is a flight search and price-monitoring service. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account data: your email address, hashed password, name (optional), preferred language, and email-verification status.
  • Alert preferences: the departure airports, destination cities, travel month, target price, and cabin classes you choose us to search and monitor on your behalf.
  • Subscription data:your plan tier (Free or Premium) and, for paid plans, the billing identifiers returned by Moyasar, our payment processor. Moyasar processes all card transactions on our behalf and stores your card token securely. We never see or store your full card number. Moyasar's privacy policy is available at moyasar.com.
  • Email logs: a record of which deal alerts we have sent you, used to prevent duplicate emails.
  • Operational logs: standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps) retained for security and debugging.

1a. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate FlightOut:

  • Moyasar — payment processing. Moyasar processes card payments and stores card tokens for subscription renewals. Data shared: cardholder name, card number (tokenized), billing amount. Privacy Policy
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (alerts, receipts, verification emails).
  • Railway — cloud hosting and infrastructure.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To search across dates and monitor prices on the routes and cabin classes you selected, and to send you alerts when we find a flight at your target price.
  • To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • To process subscription payments and provide Premium features.
  • To improve the service (aggregate, non-identifying analysis of deal performance).
  • To send essential transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing receipts).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling beyond what is necessary to deliver the service you signed up for.

3. Your Rights

  • Access & correction: you can view and update your account details, alert preferences, and language at any time from your settings page.
  • Unsubscribe: every alert email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can pause or stop alerts from your dashboard.

4. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. After deletion, residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being purged. Email and operational logs are retained for up to 12 months.

5. Children

FlightOut is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has registered, please contact us and we will delete the account.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the site before they take effect.

7. Payments

All subscription payments are final and non-refundable. Cancelling your subscription stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund of payments already made, including any prorated amounts for partial billing periods.
